SIP provider
The provider is a system dependency that must be tested on a real account.
Discuss your deploymentPBXCenter uses a SIP provider to connect with public telephone networks. Deployment reviews numbers, authentication, dial formats, caller identity, codecs and limits of the specific service.

Service scope
Numbers, channels and provider terms define available traffic
Before configuration, the company identifies existing and new numbers, expected concurrent calls and required destinations so provider limits are visible in the design.
- DID ownership, caller identity and number porting follow provider terms.
- Channel limits should reflect real demand and queue behavior.
- Emergency and premium destinations require explicit verification.
Configuration
Authentication, number formats and codecs are not universal
A provider may require account registration, IP authorization or additional headers. PBXCenter keeps secrets inside the environment instead of distributing them to employees.
- Inbound and outbound number formats are tested on actual calls.
- Codec and network choices affect compatibility and audio quality.
- Credentials are not requested in the first commercial message.
Acceptance tests
Testing covers registration, both directions and failure behavior
A registered account alone does not prove readiness. Calls verify inbound mapping, outbound destinations, caller identity, audio, restrictions and any agreed backup provider.
- Every inbound DID reaches the intended call flow.
- Outbound tests cover allowed and deliberately blocked destinations.
- Failover is tested only when a second service is genuinely prepared.
FAQ
Direct answers before the conversation.
Is PBXCenter a telecommunications carrier?
PBXCenter is not presented as the carrier for numbers and call minutes. It integrates an agreed SIP service while the provider contract remains separate.
Can we keep our current business numbers?
That depends on the current or new provider. Porting scope, timing and continuity must be confirmed before the migration plan relies on them.

Deployment for your company
Verify the provider service before changing telephony.
Provider name, number count, concurrent-call needs and important destinations are enough to begin. Credentials are exchanged later through a protected process.
